On November 4th, at the NDA Estate Supply Chain event, Oxford Technologies was awarded the prestigious Minister’s Award.
The award was presented by NDA Chief Executive, John Clarke to Stephen Sanders, Oxford Technologies Marketing and Business Development Director.
The annual NDA Estate Supply Chain Event and Awards Ceremony, held at Event City, Manchester and launched in 2012, are jointly sponsored by the NDA and its Site Licence Companies, to celebrate and acknowledge the supply chain’s vital role in delivering progress across the estate, working in collaboration, providing technology implementation and SME innovation in all forms to bring benefit and efficiencies to work programmes.
Of all the awards presented, the Minister’s Award, sponsored this year by Lord Bourne, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, recognizes in particular the value, flexibility and innovation that SMEs bring to the NDA Estates’ mission.
One of the highlights of this year’s exhibition was the live demonstration of Oxford Technologies “Dexter” Master/Slave remote handling technology, which proved to be an irresistible draw for a great number of attendees, including John Clarke, who was unable to resist trying it out for himself.
